Miri is exactly what my brother and all the other people who said "HUH?Why all the way in Sarawak" said it would be like.No,I'm not surrounded by a jungle but it still doesn't help my case now does it?
Too many mosquitoes and too many dogs.

My friends and I were at DPS(shop by our area) having our dinner when a couple of stray dogs came to us.Fucking shit.Hui was freaking out but Esther was telling us to "chill,don't let them think you're afraid".Next minute,Esther started freaking out pulak.Aihseh.
When we were walking to another shop,the girls decided that walking very close to the brave Esther would prevent the dogs from disturbing them.Share the braveness?
Well that didn't work.Hui stepped on my slipper,it went flying and Esther started screaming,thinking it was the dog.hahahaha.

So I made a few friends,they are really good people,really nice and crazy as well la.Perfect for me.I'm really glad I got to make friends with them (Jawad,Hui,Esther,Ning,Eric,Nan,Sam,Ming Cher,Jj and Ke Yan..got others la but i'm not close to them like these people)
Tonight we (Esther and I) might go meet up with Sam and Nan again.Honestly I'm super tired now but I do want to go out.'

I checked out people's blog already.So what am I to do now?I'm so bored!
Today was an unproductive day. I went over to my Grandmother's house,watched my aunt cook her yummy bihun,then eat and eat and eat and of course do my usual..talk a lot.

So after reading blogs I decided to search for lyrics and start singing songs that are on the pc.Fun okay.I used to do this almost everyday after SPM was over.This was also my way to wake my brother up especially since I turn up the volume. :D

Yesterday I met up with the two best friends,Ashraf and Alana. Kidnapped Alana from her house in the afternoon and headed to SACC Mall since I couldn't go too far.We had Nando's and talked and gossipped.I tell u that Ashraf has a lot of stories to tell me. In the car we ended up talking about gross movies like 40year old virgin,Good Luck Chuck..I think u can tell what I'm trying to say here.Well yeah so that was the topic on the way home.That and the whole "I 'cant' and "I'm coming". (think negatively here)

As I promised...but a day later :)

So the 16th was my 19th (shhh still 16 at heart) birthday. The day started out like any other day except ppl kept wishing me and hoping for good things to happen for me.Thanks ya.
Went out with mom for breakfast,lunch at home and then small little family dinner together.
Right after that we had the cutting of the cake and then we,my brothers and I cabut to meet the others at Vintry. :)

We were there before anyone else.My cousin who made the plans came later when she was the one who said be there at 8.45pm.Typical Malaysian timing eh.
Finally by early 9pm Sarah,Nicky and Steph came..hehe. Then soon later Douglas and Shaun came. (I don't know him but I let him come after he sang happy birthday to me.haha)

This year was great.It was a small celebration and I had family plus new friends with me.I wished all of my close friends could have been there though..would have been muchhhhh better. No worries,they all owe me an outing.

Right so where was I..well Vintry was kinda okay,the waiter and waitresses were kinda blur.*sorry*.Douglas asked the waitress if they have games and all that here since my cousin said they had,so here's how the convo went..


Douglas:"scuse me miss,do u have board games and all that here?

Waitress: (very blur but very certain) Yes,we have beer,wine,and water is free here.

Douglas:Huh?*stares*

Sarah an Shaun were nearby and heard the convo,they started laughing like mad people when they heard the response. Kesian the lady..she didn't know what was going on. She thought Douglas was asking for promo stuff or something like that I guess.

Douglas:I must have looked cheap lah.

So later,Russell,Sarah's bf came to pick Sarah and Nicky up for shisha.I didn't want to go so the rest of us excluding Steph decided to go listen to some music.The place,Backyard. My brothers and I pictured Backyard to be like an outdoor thing,with the band on the stage and just a nice atmosphere..when we got there..it looked like just another pub. Actually when we got in,it turned out ok..the place was packed...we had to stand in one corner,by the pool table to watch the band play. Standing nearby the band was great and all that but most of the time we had to make way for those who were playing pool..I don't get why they arranged the table that way.

Where's the common sense?Where's the creativity?

Overall I had a good time. Good music too. The lead singer came to introduce himself later on..nice guy (old d ok so stop picturing a hunky dude). The band finished playing at 3something in the morning and so we decided to have a drink..mamak was the next place.We left for home at early 4. :D
Haih.. seriously.It was normal yet so fun. I didn't get angry one bit on that day.Annoyed yes but not angry. Douglas is the only person who bought me a present..earrings.Good enough. Thnks hun.

Too bad lil Timmy couldn't be there.He had to wake up early the next day to watch his sister play in the futsal finals.Good boy.

Not sure if he'll be going back to NZ this year as well.He has been accepted into the College but he's mom wants him to do something else now.Sheeshh!

Yesterday was a good day.

I was out with the cousin Mahira and the german Carlotta.

Overall it was a productive day..

I shoped,I window shopped aswell,I painted my lil sis' face,I dined at my aunts place and also my cousin and I had a good convo all together.I told her about the guy,the sch,the people,the job and we discussed about the difference between Malaysia and NZ.The guys,the people,the life.

I managed to spend almost $100.I have never done that.I only bought two tops,a cardi and a scarf.Ish..everytime I had to swipe my card I'll feel more guilty for spending money. :( I was coaxed to buy a dress..it's so cheap >.<

So at work they were having locals day which I'm not sure what they get la..but I was suppose to help a friend with face painting but after my unsuccessful paint job,I resigned.wtf.I destroyed my sis' face..It wasn't so bad she still looked cute but I just didn't want to end up doing the same for some lil kid.Face painting-FAIL!end of career.

Also yesterday I was watching a couple of trailers.Oh wait..have u heard that a lot of people were disappointed over Twilight?(maybe I have mentioned it before)I suppose the majority have read the book..it makes a difference if you've read the book.I watched the trailer long time ago and was kinda worried about it cos I knew that a few of the scenes were wrong and I don't like the actress la..I just don't think she's sesuai.

Anyways..here are a couple of movies I can't wait to watch.

Today was my final day of work.swt.
I didn't complain this time about my shift..I didn't mind it cos it's the last day and the last time for me to hangout and work with most of them there.
Let me tell u..It was awesome.
Actually my weekend was great!How was yours?

I looked,stared,and well a lot more but the most important thing is..

He knows I exist and..it made my day,my weekend. :)

Dunedin trip

Destination:Dunedin,NZ
Total travel time:5hrs or less.

We (Carlotta,Jana and myself) set off to the bus er not station more like pick up spot in town early in the morning..7something la.It so happens that I leave not quite far from town and my mom was to lazy to send me by car so I had to walk for like 10mins or 15mins with my luggage looking like an idiot the entire time.Luckily Jana spotted me and her host dad offered me a ride.YEAH!


Once at the "bus stop",we waited for the other two to come.Carlotta came but without Svea.Anyway that's not important..the important thing is that I completely forgot about my camera.wtf.I'm off to a new place with new friends with no camera in hand.It's my fault and also my mom was rushing me and left it on the dining table.Way to go Kathleen..now blame your mother.*sigh*
It was alright though,three cameras were there,they all offered to snap pics for me and send to me.We picked up Svea at Frankton and the trip started..


No pictures were taken inside the bus..we're not big cam whores. :) The whole journey was ok..I spend my time chatting with Jana and sharing music between each other-her mp3 and my iPod but then she said she preferred my songs which made me proud..I have good taste??Mostly I spent time with my bf (my story book).Usually I would get all dizzy when reading while in a moving vehicle but I don't know why that didn't happen that day.Good though.The trip went by kinda quickly..

We made like five stops?Yes possibly that many..There was one place where they had a clock up on the mountain..I don't know how it operates but the time was correct and it looks like your normal clock just that it's on the mountain.Damn cool ok.

Made a stop at Lawrence and the picture above was taken all because of the German flag on the shop.Well spotted Kathleen informed her German mates and one just had to take a picture of it..we were up on a hill at the time,right in front of a church which was kinda abandoned.I walked up the hill with a cheese roll in hand and half praying I don't slip or fall cos' it was kinda steep..plus I had Svea beside me who always falls or slips..she scares me when she walks at times..
Next I don't know where we were..once it was about 12++ we reached Dunedin,the sun was up,and I finally let go off my book. (no more nerdy mode)Once we got our down,well I went down before anyone else..I don't know why.Their backsides all too heavy or they're waiting for something?Anyway, the bus driver started talking to me as though he knows me but of course you won't go being rude to him for nothing so I talked to him like normal also ..he was really nice.(I later found out that I did know him through my aunt and would have gotten a free ride with her help,,ohwell).

Now for the exciting part..getting confused and kinda lost...but we were rescued!A policeman was around the corner from where we stood.I told him friends and Svea was mumbling about how she wishes the guy would just give us a lift to out backpackers and the next minute the guy reverses his car and asks if we're lost..*big smile*
Jana went to talk to him while the rest of us stood behind and started to think about how it would be great to get a ride or whatever else la..gatal kan?So then after the two talked, he looked at all four of us and asked us if we wanted a ride...we looked at each other and all shamelessly said,"yes,of course!".Carlotta was left to sit infront with the policeman..eh the guy not bad looking also ok.Got muscle also..whoa I tell you I was,actually I don't know how to express how I felt which is stupid cos it's only a policeman's car which didn't have all the police car look at all..we were in a Ford something..cool car..fast too.Bloody man was driving so fast the whole time.I was sitting between Jana and Svea and at one point I turned to smile at Jana at something she said and when I did that there was this guy walking pass across the street looking and he smiled back.Perasan la.

Being gatal and lame we couldn't help ourselves in the car..we started to flirt with the cop and he invited us to a party at night..bwahahaha.*winks*
Ok..that was a complete lie.What we did was take pictures in the car.I looked like a shit head in the pictures but hey..whatever.We took one of Carlotta who was in front but didn't get the guy in the pic..only got his arm (muscles).:P

It was cold..that's why u see us zipped up till we look like we have no necks.Let me introduce you to my friends first k..Jana is 17 and is from Germany.She's really smart and matured..and is in University now.It's kinda soon for her cos normally they the German only graduate from high school at the age of 18/19.Svea is from Netherlands and is also 17.Not single-her bf is in the army..woot.She's really cool and funny and on this day was the first time I hung out with her..didn't know her before that.Carlotta who isn't in the picture is also 17 (yes I'm the oldest and shortest..boohooo) is German as well but still in high school.She is definitely funny and the trip wouldn't have been fun without her being there. :)


Back to the story..geez this is getting long.Ok so on the way we were wondering if the backpacker we'll be staying at is a dodgy one but when we got there..we were actually quite impressed.It looked good and out room was great..perfect.Four beds,with a heater and the room was so clean and tidy..we were overlooking the main road and could see the town centre from out room.If we do change with the curtains open,people will be able to see us for sure.Why am I telling you this?Svea..that girl.She woke up and wanted to go bathe or something.So she was facing the road outside and took off her bra and well you get my point I hope.I was there but didn't bother though..free show for whoever was outside.hahaha


On the first day we..

Walked around by ourselves with the help of the map.Jana was the one in charged to guide us.She handpicked herself and I didn't mind cos I'm one sesat person.I can get lost very easily. =D
We walked to the Octagon,then found so many Subways.We made out way to the University where we didn't really know where we were,the place was so big ya know.The Botanical Garden was next and right after that we made our way to Baldwin Street cos there is where you can find the steepest street in the world.After walking so far and so long,Svea and I were worn out and wanted to get a bus back after the road watching..so we did that and had to wait for 10mins for a bus.Next they (Carlotta and Jana) suggested we visit the museum in town but I suggested we go to the beach..they didn't want cos they said we should go the day we are suppose to leave and blabla..Disappointed but didn't show it.Then Carlotta saw the paper that says the museum closes at five and it was 4.45pm that time and we were far away from town so YES the beach it was.



The bus driver was shit,bloody rude and like didn't know what he was doing at times.So I had to go tell him we wanted to go to the beach instead and paid him a dollar more..We got to the beach and all was good but I was hungry la.
The weather was so good and it was the perfect day to be at the beach.We walked from the spot we were dropped off till far off somewhere in the beach..walk without talking and occasionally jumping in the water.Then we climb the sand mountain..(I have no idea what it's called ok) and sat there for sometime just enjoying the view and sun..
At night we bought a few things for breakfast and out snacks when we walk about.Then off to Subway for dinner and then home.Day one finish..

Day two was when we went for our Cadbury Factory Tour,and then we visited the boring Railway Station and then went on the Wildlife Tour.(I got to sit next to a cute German for a few minutes).:)
The last night was the best.We made out dinner and talked a lot.Then the German couple who was living in the same place as we were came home and we made friends with them.They were speaking German and I kinda felt left out and one point.Svea could understand a little bit.We talked,laughed and then moved on to the bedroom.Jana was with my iPod (she used it more than I did the whole trip) then she fell asleep while the rest off us read books and looked through photographs.At one point Jana started to snore..seriously!It was ok but then it got annoying and Svea wanted to throw a shoe at her.Later we all decided to sleep but Svea and I couldn't..why?Carlotta was snoring!!It wasn't like how Jana was before that..it was louder and so annoying.Svea started shouting "MAN!Is that Jana?".I told her it was Carlotta and directly after that Carlotta shot up and started to mumble something and called me..I couldn't help but laugh and continued like that till Jana woke up. =D

Again I began to laugh non stop till Jana had to shoosh me.Jana went to sleep on Carlotta's bed and we all talked a few mins then Svea said that we should go to sleep which we did while Jana kept Carlotta awake so that she wont start snoring.We slept and I had a bloody nightmare..I dreamt I had only had $100+ in my account and got so worked up bout it and my dad said people cheated me off my money and that he was going to sue the backpackers....Only a dream but when I woke up I quickly went to check how much money I had in my back account.Oh Internet there is free!and fast..

Nothing much on the day we had to leave..it rained.We walked in the rain..got a ride to the museum in the morning from the German lady.Then at 1 something we left Dunedin..

My nose has been running like mad..hahahah okay that sounds weird.Ok translations..flu la.I even finished using all the tissue in the house minus the toilet roll so now i'm using that. :)
My companion during the day and night.Thank God for tissue rolls.
So so sick..so I've been studying at home (after watching movies).I told my mom I was gonna go to sch today but she said I should stay at home and rest it out and study.I was like "I'm sure i'll go to sch" but deep down I was jumping and screaming.

I understand..sikit sikit now but soon I'll know it all.The good thing bout the exams here is u know which is coming out..this excludes History exams.I'm going to pass these bloody exams and get my butt into uni next year.I cant wait for uni life..I'm so sick of high sch here. :(
My subs=History,Statistics,Chemistry,Tourism,English.
I dont have exams for Toursim though so that's good.The English here is tough..can die I tell u.Its way easier in Malaysia..ours back home is kinda low standard.I'm not trying to sound mean but I'm speaking the truth.U try..see if u can handle it.I felt like crying when I didnt pass my essay on travel writing..and this comes from a gal who aces English all the time..English is my subject but it isnt here..being here makes me hate English cos I know I'm not that good at it here...my English also low standard la then..geez.shitty right.

On facebook this gal added me..she's the girl frm my sch here and is in a number of my classes..I only talked to her properly once..that's it.So I duno how she found me on Facebook cos I dont have any1 from sch in my friends list...maybe she overheard me telling a friend about it..maybe.I was at that time telling Carlotta about Facebook..they dont use Facebook there in Germany but some other thingy..I cant spell it out.That's not important..but all I'm saying is I was suprised and I also found some other ppl from sch on Facebook but I dont really bother adding though.Malas..nt like they are actually my friends.*rolls eyes*

Des accepted already and I'm gonna see him in Oct right after Jana goes back.I'll be both happy and sad then.Happy to see Des but sad to see Jana go back and never seeing her again. :(
Not sure how I'm gona hangout with Des cos he'll be in a group tour so if he can break away then we can go kai kai together.CANT WAIT!

He's finally over his ex gf which is good..so am I.We both were in that situation..the whole breaking up with ur first love and still not getting over it.Me with Hare and he with Nicole.I guess I recovered earlier than him cos I had someone else who came to me while he didnt think about opening up to anyone else.Both of us saw NZ as a place to run to and forget bout all the miserable things that happened back in Malaysia..and now we're both gona go back..me in Dec and he sometime early next year.Hopefully b4 my bday ae Des.I want to party.Scratch that..I NEED to party.

I'm finally sick thanks to my sis.She was sick for a week or so then now pass to me.See la..cough at me all the time and all that.I'm not mad..i'm glad.Crazy.I wanted to be sick so I have a valid reason for not going to sch so here's my chance.The thing is my friend is gona b alone during Stats class but its only for an hour which goes by really really fast and she'll b busy reading her book she wont notice i'm not there. :)

It's already Spring here..Its like autumn but it rains a lot and we get good sun as well.I cant wait for summer!The sun..oih I miss the sun.I'm a sun person so I hate the cold.Good thing we dont have these four seasons back in M'sia.That reminds me..I have MOCK's soon then the big exam and then..I'm going home!I cant wait..I really wana go home and enjoy myself with the people I so so syg veli much.(hopefully u guys wont b too busy for me la)

I was thinking yest bout the ppl back home cos I was showing Jana all my friends (not all la) and then the country itself.Then I saw that Desmond now has a Facebook and hasnt added me????So i added him and felt sad and happy at the same time..I miss that fellow a lot.He's here in NZ but not close..he's up north.The good thing is he's coming here to visit me so then hopefully he'll come at the right time and we can hangout a hell lot.I miss u Des Chan!

On the last week of this term,after my Mocks..the three of us are heading down to Dunedin for a couple of days.Not sure what we can do there..they dont like shopping while I love it..but then i'm on strict orders not to buy so many things or else I have to pay for the extra weight later on.So i'm slowing down..n thinkin bout giving away some of my things to make room for new ones.hehehe..smart right.

I had fun yest..and cant wait for the hols so I can enjoy it with good friends (only friends) and Des is coming!yeaahhhh.Oh wait..during the hols Jana will b goin back..haih.Susah payah I make a new friend and then she'll b gone and it's gona b me and Carlotta only.

...Shouldnt b thinking bout that..jst focus on what's coming is better.

Snow Day

Snow Day :)

It started snowing yesterday around 3 and only stopped at night.It was superb I tell u.I was waiting for it to snow again n yest it finally did.I had to work though at 4 so didnt get to play much but yes I walked under the snow and watched from inside as it got ticker n fell even more heavier. :)

I love snow..way better than sand.WHY?It doesnt get in ur eye,it doesnt make u feel uncomfortable when it gets on u and the most important thing is that it doesnt make u feel sticky or make u wana take off ur shoe ware and then hit hit it off.Irritating thing.

I'm not saying I dont like the beach la..just certain aspects of it are not so pleasing.Today is Friday right,suppose to have sch but then it snowed overnight so everywhere is icy and all that so schs are close. YEAHHHHHH!Was lying on my bed listenin to the radio then when they announced it both Ben and I shouted at the same time..no school means no practice test for English. :)I hardly studied for it so i'm freakin happy.

made bfast for my sis and myself.

mandi (hot hot shower)then got ready for the snow..done with my four layers of clothes..added two layers of socks.hahaha

then after trying to put my shoes on...it didnt fit so had to tanggal the socks.Waste time.seesh.

took pics of the snow and tried to see if the cloths we left outside could actually break as its icy as well.(couldn't)

Me being the fatty of the house..I could hardly run.Ok no la its not cos of that..I had in one pocket the camera and the next..I duno.hah!It was Nic n I against Ben..I suppose Ben won la.My aim and shot was terrible..nearly fell a couple of times..it was really that icy.

The fight extended to our high sch..then to the sch field.Fun fun fun!At the field we thought bout making a snowman..so the work began..with very little hope for a successful snowman.We're lame like that. :)

Somewhere nearby ours was another "snowman".From where we stood it kinda looked like a snowman with its head chopped off..but then making our way home we finally realised what it was..

That thing I'm guessing was made last night cos its like really snow not like ours...Ours was more like half half..abit of snow n ice.Its about the same la but theirs is the soft thingy.

Next we went to get food..Hungry d mah so go makan.Us gettin lunch took us nearly 20mins..its at the grocery shop summore.Think think think then finally we bought our individual things then the last thing was..Murtabak.I think its the Malaysian one...got Malaysian Chicken Curry also.So yumm..

Haih..must check my bank acc again.I'm so cheap yet so nice.It was all worth it I tell u.I havent had Murtabak in..I duno how long. :(

Oh we had sushi aswell..my tummy is satisfied.This thing hap..Nic wanted sushi I could tell but then we went to the hot food sec..so she was like okla I take the pie *sour face*

Then I told her if she wanted sushi then go take..she ran there straight after.geez.But then when she took it n we took the Murtabak for all to share she gave me a hug n said thank you jie..aww.That made things even better. :)

I belanja my sibs too much d.2nd term hols=Thai food,pies,junk food,dvds to rent.

My gosh..I hope they will balas me for that one day..when I'm old and grey or mayb when they are rich n i'm still a lame-o?haha..thou so low in faith and hope.
