THIS WAS MEANT TO BE POSTED A TWO WEEKS AGO! but due to the poor internet connection,it is only posted now.


I lied!
I have pictures NOW so I'll be able to show them. :)

Last week was a busy week.I went for a one day road trip to Brunei with a few people then went back to KL on Friday and got back to Miri on Sunday.
It took us about 2hours to get to Brunei.Let me tell you,it's easy to smuggle people into Brunei.They don't even check who's in the car before stamping the passport.What's the use of having an immigration booth then?
People I tell you..

So only Esther,Navin,Sam and I went on the trip as the others were either away or having classes since they're in Foundation.*pity pity
Esther brought her camera but didn't charge it and didn't bring her international adapter so that meant hell for not just her but all of us.You see,the night before we went clubbing (it was boring) and some of us made her come..we begged..Hasnat begged..not me!So in turn she blamed us for her camera not being able to be charged in time.

Anyway..so off we went and as soon as we got to Brunei,we had to go look for an adapter for her.Thank God we did..so now for pictures,there's going to be a lot.. courtesy of Esther.

Oh btw..the toll price is funny.According to Sam,
you have to pay rm10 and 3brunei dollars..
and let's say you don't have brunei dollars and pay with ringgit or wtv,they wont' give you your change. : /

No we did not go in.

So after getting the almighty adaptor,we went looking for a place to charge the camera..we founf one-Coffee Bean!So off we went,sat there for an hour or more.While there,we went to the loo,Sam slept off and even started snoring,Esther was camwhoring,Navin was trying to call Nisha,while I sat there,complained about the drink and watched Astro!

Kesian my friends,they left me in Coffee Bean to go smoke.So right before they could even light their ciggs,they saw a big ass sign (not the one on top) saying your not allowed to smoke,not even light a naked fired.lol!
Nisha,who stays in Brunei said that you should just go ahead and smoke anyway..even the cops do that..WE SAW!

Sam.Right outside Coffee Bean was a dataran so we decided to do the jump shots..tak jadi bah.pfft!what a waste of energy under the freaking hot sun. :P

This somehow reminds me of Kuantan.

We met Nisha after an doing our jumps, then she told us about Kampung Air where we can go for boat rides.She did warn us about the fare and how some of these people will con us..
hehe..too bad for them we came prepared.

Boat ride costs $10 for a 20min ride
and $15 for an hour ride and you might even get to see crocodiles.
So ofcourse we picked the $15..this is after a couple minutes of coaxing by Esther and the boatman.
Honestly I was a lil scared but did want to go..the only thing I was worried about is spending so much.My inner triftiness came out.

Oh btw..new things in my life...
I got hurt AGAIN..heart I mean..but now I'm okay cos I've met someone new who's a totally different person.Someone everyone knows is a nice guy aswell.We'll see how things go with this one..won't rush.Friend friend dahulu. :)

Neglected!

I know I know I've not been updating.What's the point of having a blog ae.
It's been 6weeks since my last post..bloody long time but it kinda feels longer.I feel like I've been here in Miri for more than 7weeks (6weeks of classes and one week of orientation).

Thank God I went for orientation,thank God I made many friends during that one week and thank God I'm still friends with all of those I made friends with.
Of course I've made more friends after that one week..I now talk to almost everyone in my classes.Mass Communication class here is small so it's easier to make friends with everyone.
We've done our first production which is a Mini Documentary on Curtin University,promoting it and all that.
It was hectic.Now for you non Mass Communication students,when you see us carrying cameras around and shooting and all that you'd think,"Wah so cool,looks so fun,seems easier than what I'm doing"..you are soooooooo wrong.
You know how tiring it is being a Mass Communication student?You'd be carrying heavy equipment around,walking/shooting under the hot sun and getting sun burnt (hint hint).
In mass communication there are no formulas to memorize or equations to do.We have to be able to set up equipment,we have to be creative all the time and ensuring that what we write,what we shoot and edit is the best.

Next week will be the start of my two weeks break but it means work work work for us Mass Comm students.No rest.I have two assignments due right after the break.One sound scape which is recording sounds then editing, and a treatment oh and I have to work on another shoot.

Honestly,I've said nothing nice about the course have I?But it is really nice..the FTV lectures are cool (this is film/tv) while the others are just ok.It's a lot of work but it's fun at the same time.You learn a lot of things and when you finish your work,the end product will usually surprise you.Who knew you could actually do all that stuff..fun la actually.

Anyways..I have no pictures to show you! :(
My mom didn't want me to bring the camera along..I now have my hp but I can't seem to connect it to this laptop.I will take some from Esther and show you guys k.I wana show you all of my new kawan kawan.They are all seriously the best people to have around.I'm really glad to have them as friends..
oHohoh..hahaha..Kathleen is proud to say that she has started clubbing and loves it!this is minus raids.I've been there a few times and it was raided twice when I was there..haha.No I'm not the one attracting the cops.They are just effed up. :)

We might be going again this weekend.We have to though...it's the last weekend we're all going to be together before a few go back home.I'll be going back too,on the 10th till the 12th.Very short ae.Dad forgot that I had two weeks instead of just one week break..but it's ok.I have work to do anyways.

I have lot's more to say but if I continue then this will end up an essay!
I promise I will put up pictures by this weekend.I promise and this time will actually fulfill the promise k.
